Get to know me.

Hi, welcome! I’m so happy you’re here. My name is Gina Motsay and I am a mother of 5, including twins! I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, CLC, ALC and CFT (CranioSacral Fascial Therapist). Currently, my family and I reside in Northeast North Carolina bordering VA.

Before I began my passion of lactation support, I was in the United States Navy where I had my first two children. After I had my first child I greatly struggled. I learned that finding an IBCLC was much harder than I anticipated, but the support I did gain changed my perspective. After having my second child and getting out of the military, I immediately started my lactation education in 2015. Since then, I have had the best experience helping new parents all over the world for the past 8 years. It is a huge passion of mine to support my patients to the best of my ability.

I take a special interest in tongue and lip tie restrictions, multiples and pumping. Not only do I have experience with both topics personally, I have dealt with tongue tie complications in 4 out of my 5 kids and I have accumulated a total of 7+ years breastfeeding and pumping! In my spare time, I donate to local mothers and connect parents looking for donor milk for their little ones to donors.

My college degree focuses on maternal child health and human lactation, therefore I do understand how the hospital system can affect lactation. If you are in need of help with making your birth plan breastfeeding friendly, I am here to help! I am currently finishing my Masters degree in Human lactation and plan to eventually pursue my Phd to continue to help breastfeeding mothers and research lactation!

My goal as a holistic IBCLC is to focus on the root cause of any lactation problem you may face and I refuse to give blanket statement answers or brush off your concerns. I will not only be your lactation consultant, but your biggest advocate and friend that will hold your hand through any struggles you may face. I will not go away after an initial consult, I keep access open to you for any questions you may have to ease your mind!
